Fylingdales (1955)
This was one of three films shown to Walmsley Society members at Fylingdales Village Hall on the evening of May 14 2010.
It is an excellent production (silent, of course) made by an unknown family of filmmakers, and shows us the area around Fylingdales and Robin Hood's Bay in the mid-1950s. Having seen some other, earlier cine films that were made in a similar style, I believe the filmmmakers themselves are the family playing cricket on the beach at 23:11.
