Every year the Society's May weekend includes the traditional Sunday morning walk, usually to places of special interest and significance to Leo and Ulric. These have included a visit to the Old St Stephen's Church, a tour around the alleyways and back streets of Robin Hood's Bay (usually missed by tourists), 2 unusual 'off the beaten track' trips around Whitby – Leo's 'Burnharbour' – a trip along the beach to Boggle Hole, and Leith Rigg (or 'Adder Howe' as Leo called it in The Golden Waterwheel. Here is just one selection of photos from these events. |
