Every year the Society's May weekend includes the traditional Sunday morning walk, usually to places of special interest and significance to Leo and Ulric.

These have included a visit to the Old St Stephen's Church, a tour around the alleyways and back streets of Robin Hood's Bay (usually missed by tourists), 2 unusual 'off the beaten track' trips around Whitby – Leo's 'Burnharbour' – a trip along the beach to Boggle Hole, and Leith Rigg (or 'Adder Howe' as Leo called it in The Golden Waterwheel.
