Page 7 – The Moors

TO JUDGE by the number of paintings that have come down to us depicting the moors surrounding Robin Hood's Bay, this theme must have been one of Ulric's favourites and also very popular with his customers. Similar scenes were reinterpreted over the years, with the colours changing according to the season and Ulric's own artistic development.
